Having resisted updating my old Google Site, I have received notification that I now have to move to the new Google Sites system.
This, of course has created a whole load of headaches.
The original Google sites were, sort of, more like a blog site. It allowed me to create a site with multiple threads, and have elpful displays of most recent posts. All this has gone.
This means that all my previous posts under the Googlesite are really difficult to get to. They are all actually there, but the layout looks horrible.
The other major difference is in the site theme. The old system allowed loads of customisable features for the site. The new system has been simplified and heavily constrains the options available. Transferring to the new site has pretty musch broken everything, and it's going to take a long time to make it look reasonable .
So... I'm back on Blogger. I've not been here for a long time, but Blogger is straightforward and simple to use. I should find that this is the place for logging all the things I'm doing; both rockets and other things. Time will tell.
