Designing a dinosaur themed craft activity for children.
The idea is to make a slot-together stegosaurus out of 3mm plywood with the letters “DINOSAUR” on the back plates. Drawn in Inkscape and cut out with my home made laser cutter. There was a short iterative process in getting the design just right.
I also ran off some plywood “fossils” to hide around the building for children to find. I had lots of fun designing and making these dinosaurs.
The kids had marvellous fun finding the fossils and building and decorating their models to take home.
